Question about 'monsters'

I'm really interested in this plot, I'd love to join, but I don't know what kinds of characters I can make? What are these 'monsters'? Are they your normal fictional monsters such as Vampires, Werewolves, Witches etc?

Yes you can be those monsters and you may make a bit of a made up one. Like Vika is a dragon Shape Shifter, but most people don't have that.
