Liadyn stretched, ruffling his brown hair with weary hands. He really enjoyed spending time in the library, tucked away in an unseen corner with a nice little book sitting in his palms. Yellow eyes closed as he leaned back into the chair, letting the sunlight fall from the high window onto his face. He felt he may just fall asleep here. But alas he knew he mustn't.
Yawning, Liadyn forced himself to sit up and stare down at the book again. This was a matter of life or death for him! He knew that randomly disappearing in public was a big no-no, especially these days. Coming into his teen years, Liadyn found himself becoming angered much easier, causing more disappearances. His body just fading into the background. He didn't want to go to that dreadful place and so he studied hard, attempting to find some way to control his own power.

Vika walked into the library. She returned her books and looked on a shelf for a new book, her dragon tattoo glowing. There are reasons to come alive to your true form. Just not at certain times. The outside is only a small image to which one dreams of.

Liadyn was so intrigued by his book that the entrance of the girl had barely registered. When at last yellow eyes looked up, he spotted the slim form surveying the possibilities held by the many shelves. His eye was dragged downwards, past her slender neck and shoulders to the glowing dragon design that decorated her arm. Eyebrows creased for a moment as he wondered what kind of ink glowed like that before he made his decision.
Pulling out a book from the bottom-most shelf, Liadyn approached the girl and held out the book, it's cover adorned with a shining blue dragon, it's body coiled around a tower. It was a fictional book, and Liadyn felt these held little charm, but where would he find truths about such things as Dragons? Even a chameleon like himself would never have guessed just how right he was as he gently touched the girl on the shoulder, offering a book he thought she might like.

Vika searched more possibilities, and felt a tap that made her jump. She turned around and rubbed her shoulder that had her dragon tattoo. What's that? She thought, staring at the book he was holding out. "Thank you." She said to Liadyn, taking the book from his grasp.

The girl jumped, causing Liadyn to flinch back a little, the book held out from his body as he offered it to her. He noticed with an amused smile that her hand reached up to rub at the tattoo, and he wondered if it had any kind of meaning to her. Did she believe in dragons? Or was it just an obsession with a legend held by a child? Liadyn decided it did not matter much in the scheme of things.
With a gracious smile, Liadyn let go of the book, letting it pass into her hands. "Of course." He replied. "You like dragons, do you?" He asked earnestly.

Vika nodded. "I guess you could say I'm a dragon myself." She said, saying the truth, hoping he would understand.

Yellow eyes widened at this statement as her words floated through his brain. "I guess you could say I'm a dragon myself". Liadyn lowered his eyelids, back to their normal position before continuing on with their 'innocent' conversation. "Ahh yes. I myself prefer to hide. I have no real courage." Liadyn shrugged as if this comment was nothing of substance but his meaning held heavy in the air as he allowed his pinky finger to slowly disappear. He wondered if the girl might see his little show, and if not then the conversation might just end there, destined to sit in the dusty frames of one's mind. He had no intention of being caught but the idea of having a friend of the same 'species' -one might say- would be ideal.

Vika, did, in fact, see Liadyn's show. Yet, she hadn't a clue as to how people possess those abilities. This girl wanted to find the wonders of the world. Explore every corner of the world. "Follow me." She said and led Liadyn to a corner of the library, unknown and unseen to all. All, except the dragons and all the dragon takes with them. But the person the dragon came with, won't be able to see it again unless the dragon took the person again. OOC; This better?

OOC: Much! Thank you Liadyn grinned as the girl led him to a far corner of the library. It was weird, knowing that he most definitely was not alone in his predicament. He wondered how many others there were out there like them, like this girl with her glowing tattoo. "Why does it glow like that?" He asked, his voice soft as he whispered, a slim finger pointing to the blue dragon coiled up on her arm. It still intrigued him to no end.

Vika walked him into the corner and they dissapeared after they walked into the corner. It was quite roomy. "I'm a dragon shapeshifter." She replied quietly. "They can still hear us. Just can't see us." Vika said.

His question went unanswered, though what she replied with was much more valuable than the information he originally sought. His mouth gaped open in surprise, she could turn into a dragon? Was she blue, like the tattoo when she changed? Liadyn had no idea. "Good." He replied. "Then they definitely can't see this." came the mutter from the bookshelf he had pressed himself up against. The boy had allowed his body to disappear until he melded into the books behind him, completely invisible to the naked eye. Behind the chameleon skin, Liadyn grinned, allowing only his face to re-appear.

"Do you not know what powers a dragon possesses? You sure don't seem like it, not to be rude. They can see any invisible animal, invisible or not." Vika said, not trying to sound rude, just informative.

Liadyn frowned and allowed the color back to his body. Dragons sure were narky. Shrugging Liadyn turned from the woman. "Well then I guess I have no business talking to you." He said, his voice slightly cold. He was not used to others criticizing his unique talent. He didn't think it to be very kind of the girl to say so. "And I hate to say it lady, but I ain't a dragon myself. I couldn't care less if you farted pink glitter." Liadyn shrugged again and began walking away, interest lost in their conversation.
